More importantly, we unleashed our new agency look and feel on all the team. As you may have noticed, our new logo loses the word digital – a reflection of how things have changed in the last 5 years. Digital is now more than another medium: it’s how we all live and interact, a ubiquitous part of everyday life.

Our new brand identity gives a much better feel of what the agency’s all about and the experience, expertise and authority we’re already bringing to fantastic clients like O2, Nokia, Nike Team Wear and Furniture Village.

Love it? Hate it? We’d love to know what you think.

Ovi music is a vast music library offering unlimited access to millions of tracks. It is just as big as iTunes, but with even greater breadth and variety of music. Ovi can be accessed by mobile, web browser or via the Nokia Ovi player on your desktop. Users can create, share and swap play lists with their friends.

We’ll be creating a series of digital assets to bring the service to life: the first a fast-paced video feature for the Ovi music landing and overview pages which excite and entice users to discover, download and enjoy Ovi to the full.

We’re looking at ways to help visitors choose the right handset and tariff on the O2 website, by creating a new approach to packaging and bundling products.

Our work with O2 work is part of a strategic move to improve the performance of their online shop.

By conducting a thorough competitor review, user research and testing we uncovered a range of issues around researching and choosing mobile phones and tariffs. Users need more support during this very complex process - there is almost too much choice for some! Any brand which could provide more guidance, with the ability to configure or identify yourself from a range of personas was welcomed.

This insight lead us to develop a series of new design concepts, all within the new 02 brand guidelines. Our innovative creative treatment invites users to select an avatar they identify with. Using a rich interface, they can scroll through appropriate products, with clear information design drawing their eye to suggested packages. The simplicity and purity of the design reassures users that the process is easy and stress-free. Simple icons represent specific items such as social networking, gaming and email, to denote different user behaviour.

In testing, users loved the feel of the design as much as the way in which it helped them.

Initial client reaction was equally positive, and we are now in the process of developing fully finished designs.

Affiliate Marketing is providing some outstanding results for our clients, in some cases outperforming forecasts by over 50%. So what's the secret?

Affiliate marketing is when a client’s ads, links or product info is hosted on another website or blog. A flat fee or percentage of sale is paid whenever visitors click through and make a purchase.

As part of your marketing mix, it’s a no brainer. There is no risk – you only pay if and when you get results.

There are thousands of affiliate marketing programs on the web and a lot of money to be made for businesses that get their affiliate strategy right. If you’re interested in what it could do for you, give me a call.

I’ll show you how to:

• Refine your offer to give people a proposition that’s clear and easy to buy

• Find web sites with the kind of traffic that will be interested in what you have to offer.

• Make your creative stand out. The stronger and more compelling your creative treatment, the more likely your affiliate sites are to push it. If they see something likely to generate more click-through, they know they’ll earn more commission.

• Test, learn and grow your affiliate network – so we can keep trying new sites and new creative to improve your results

If your business or brand is missing out on the affiliate opportunity for, get in touch. I’d love to help.

RugbyReach aims to give Nike the same credibility in grass roots rugby that they enjoy in football and running. The phase 1 site introduces the Nike Team wear proposition, encouraging clubs to call for more info.

For football, we’ve borrowed extensively from Nike’s brand imagery and tone of voice to create a stunning site that presents the Team Wear offer, without compromising Nike’s value or authority.

Mark’s genius design work on the football site has had rave reviews from Nike, who reckon “this visuals are fantastic. This will blow a lot of stuff out there out of the water.” We couldn’t agree more. We’ve now got a search campaign underway to make sure everyone sees it.

With the financial services sector still in turmoil, big names no longer any indication of security and stability and more people that ever before burdened by debt, we helped Norwich & Peterborough Building Society seize the moment and present a strong, supportive and positive new customer proposition: one that helps people be on top of money.

We created a website to give N&P customers and prospects more confidence with their finances. Featuring honest, likeable images of real people in real situations and a direct, conversational tone of voice, it presents a friendly, open environment where you can take control, share your views or concerns and take advantage of some impressive service and product offers.

The site includes a personalized My N&P area, and range of tools and guides to help more customers take control of their finances.

The new design style, which is already being rolled out in N&P’s branches, will also transform N&P’s staff intranet into an indispensable, customisable desktop where business news, work processes and branch news are easily accessed.

We're delighted to be on the BBC agency roster. For one thing, you never know what opportunity is coming up next...

Our first project with the BBC was creating anew magazine advertising website for BBC Worldwide. Aimed at making life easier for media buyers and agencies, the site showcases all the BBC’s passion titles and gives buyers access to all the information they could ever need to advertise with the BBC.

Then, hot on the heels of a successful Magazines Advertising website launch, we waltzed straight in to creating a special BBC Strictly Come Dancing competition site featuring the UK’s top media movers and shakers. The site followed 6 couples as they trained to perform a ballroom or latin routine in front of celebrity judges and a star-studded audience at the Café de Paris. Daily updates were available online, with training blogs and gallery shots following each dancer’s progress.

English Heritage shortlisted 5 potential agencies to create their new website after initial responses from over 100 hopefuls. We're delighted to say we emerged on top, with some fantastic feedback on our pitch.

We kicked off the project by running a series of brainstorms for English Heritage, which gave wider stakeholder groups in the organisation that chance to air and share their ideas and requirements. They were lively, productive sessions, with a lot of fun had by all. Better still, they gave us a whole range of potential creative themes for the new site.

Three very different design routes went in to user testing along with an IA approach to segmenting English Heritage’s distinct target audiences. The winning route is now being finalised, then it’s back to user testing. We hope to show you the work here very soon.

The iphone 3G sold over 3 million in its first month. The iphone application store made 30 billion in its first month. So why's that good news for more than just the folks at Apple?

As well as being a great toy, the iphone has the potential to change the way we all use the internet. Besides being able to use current services anytime, any place, new services such as location awareness open up a range of possibilities.
So how can you make the most of the iphone opportunity?

The first step is to make sure your site can be viewed on the iphone. Clever as it is it can’t use flash, and as big as the screen is it’s no monitor, so you need to get round those challenges first.

Next, create an application. This should allow users to use current functionality from your site with ease and even provide new features. These could be as simple as providing directions to the nearest store using the iphone GPS, or offering users information when they are in store, such as the location of products and more detailed information on the items in front of them, including live stock information and complimentary items.
The iphone can link marketing channels. For example, you can take a picture of a poster, get sent a message that provides a money off coupon, and used on online instantly or in the nearest store which can be located via the phone. So as well as driving sales, it can help us gather a more detailed level of marketing data than ever before.
That scenario might be a little way off yet, but the iphone is still selling fast. With Google soon to release a system that will bring iphone-like features to many other phones, it’s time to start caring and exploring the possibilities.
Want to know more? Get in touch.
